| Brief Profile | |
Zeeshan Ahmad, hails from Mohmand Agency, a Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA), settled in Mardan in quest of getting education. After getting all his initial education from government schools made it to LUMS where he is currently doing Bsc (Hons) economics from the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Law (SHSSL). Besides academics, he is an active social worker and has been involved with various organizations such as the LUMS Community Services Society (August 2012 till date), the Amnesty International LUMS (August 2012 till date) and Boys Scouts Association (Social works wing) to serve the victims of floods and internally displaced people (IDPs) due to military operations in FATA. Due to his strong extracurricular activities, Mr. Ahmad was selected as Cultural Ambassador to the United States. He aspires to play a convincing role in furthering the cause of education for shaping a peaceful and prosperous nation in his homeland. |
