Brief Profile

Anum Tariq belongs to the Lahore district of Pakistan. She was born on April 25, 1993. She was schooled in Crescent Model School, Lahore. Currently Ms. Khan is doing Electrical Engineering from Lahore College for Women University, Lahore. She holds International membership of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) as well as the post of Chairperson of IEEE-LCWU. She is working as member of FPCCI (The Federation Pakistan chamber of Commerce and Industries, Regional Standing Committee on Young Entrepreneur Development). Moreover Ms. Khan is Ambassador of Chief Minister Youth Mobilization Committee and remained organizer of Punjab Youth Festival in 2012 and 2014. Due to her exuberant administrative and management skills, Punjab Government bestowed her with honour of Shield for Best Ambassador Award. She remained Vice Chairperson of IEEE-WIE LCWU branch (Women in Engineering). She has played a key role in organizing many events like Punjab International IT, Science and Technology Expo and competition 2014 by National ICT R&D Fund Ministry of Information Technology. In addition to that Ms. Khan is actively involved in organizing different workshops, seminars and events.

Politically, Anum Tariq khan is affiliated with Blue Party , Chairperson of Standing Committee on Energy .

Ms. Amina Sheikh (YP24-PUNJAB05), Ms. Anum Tariq Khan (YP27-PUNJAB08), Mr. Moazzam Habib (YP38-PUNJAB19), Ms. Amna Saeed (YP25-PUNJAB06), Mr. Hassan Masood (YP31-PUNJAB12) and Mr. Ehtisham ul Haq (YP15-KP03) would like to move following resolution:"This House is of the opinion that freedom of expression is a fundamental right but state's sovereignty and the well being of its citizens. PEMRA should regulate the media in the best interest of Pakistan and PEMRA's appointments must be made on merit for this purpose."

Mr. Ehtisham Ul Haq (YP15-KP03), Ms. Anum Tariq Khan (YP27-PUNJAB08), Mr. Hassaan Masood(YP31-PUNJAB12) and ?Mr. Naveed-ur-Rehman Anwar (YP18-KP06) would like to move the following resolution:"This House believes that Higher Education Commission should ensure the variables for quality education in all universities of Pakistan (Govt & Semi Govt) i.e. Technological advanced Labs, Up-to-date syllabus, basic facilities and faculty are being fulfilled efficiently by formation of a central regulation board; as all citizens of Islamic Republic of Pakistan have equal right to quality and standard education"

Ms. Amna Saeed (YP25-PUNJAB06), Syed Tassawur Kazmi (YP10-GB02), Mr. Irshad Ahmad (YP53-SINDH06) and Ms. Anum Tariq Khan (YP27-PUNJAB08) would like to move the following resolution: "This House is of the opinion that indirect taxes (General Sales Tax on commodities, Services tax) should be minimized as it affects the poor adversely, thus causing inflation; and progressive legislation (luxury taxes and sin taxes) be promoted for the even distribution of tax proportion within the country".

MS. ANUM TARIQ KHAN (YP27-PUNJAB08), Chairperson Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Energy, to present the report of the Standing Committee on Energy Trade Policy Casa 1000, Electricity Import from India, Coal Project in Assistance with China.
