Sohaib Saeed

Brief Profile

Sohaib Saeed was born on May 16, 1985. He belongs to the city of Mirpur Azad Kashmir. He is currently the Vice President of the AJK Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Saeed completed his O’ Levels from the City School, Mirpur and moved to the City School, Capital Campus Islamabad for his A’ Levels which he completed in 2003. He joined the Lahore School of Economics for his BBA (Hons.) with majors in Finance and did his MSc in International Business from the University of Salford, UK. Mr. Saeed is currently working as Executive Director with Azad Group, which has a diversified portfolio ranging from Toyota Dealership to Textile Spinning and Woven Polypropylene Sacks at Mirpur. He has travelled to 17 countries around the globe and has a keen interest in history, culture and politics. He participates in the business politics of the State and works with CIPE, SMEDA and Mirpur University to encourage entrepreneurship.

Politically, Sohaib Saeed is affiliated with Green Party , Chairperson of Standing Committee on Finance, Economic Affairs & Planning .

Mr. Sohaib Saeed (YP02-AJK02) to put forward the following resolution: "This house is of the opinion that the Local Governments are important for the development of this country hence Election Commission of Pakistan should ensure Local Government elections in the country including the Federal Capital at the earliest."

Third Session
(24-10-2014)

Mr. Sohaib Saeed (YP02-AJK02) and Ms. Rahy Farooq (YP11-ICT01) would like to present the following resolution: "This house grieves over loss of 4,900 precious human lives around the world by Ebola virus. At the same time it suggests that Ministry of Health ensures that the citizens of Pakistan stays safe from this virus hence should designs fail proof systems to avoid this virus and develop a back-up plan in case of a contamination."

Ms. Mizghan Mehboob Kirmani (YP54-SINDH07), Mr. Darya Khan Pahore (YP51-SINDH04) and Mr. Sohaib Saeed (YP02-AJK02) would like to move the following resolution:"This House is of the opinion that, The Government of Pakistan should frame a correct definition on "Acts of terrorism" so that the punishments and verdicts are filed in accordance to the frame work."

Ms. Mashal Mushtaq (YP36-PUNJAB17) and Mr. Sohaib Saeed (YP02-AJK02) would like to move the following resolution:"This House is of the opinion that the creation of Regional Economic Interdependence through bilateral trade between Pakistan, other South Asian countries and Iran could lead to the betterment of foreign relations and hence both; economic and political stability of Pakistan."

Ms. Mizghan Mehboob Kirmani (YP54-SINDH07), Mr. Darya Khan Pahore (YP51-SINDH04), Mr. Sohaib Saeed (YP02-AJK02) would like to move the following resolution:"This House is of the opinion that the country should manage the following to counter terrorism: Madrassa System Border Security of the four provinces Monitoring committee on the Arms and Ammunitions Reduce poverty and build more schools Control on Media cells and filtration."
