Umar Anwar Jahangir was born on February 15, 1992 in Islamabad and after finishing his A levels, he moved to Karachi to study medicine which has been his professional dream. Mr. Jahangir has over 5 years of work experience; he did his first internship at the age of 13, where he lead a team in UNICEFs national campaign to eradicate polio at the age 16 and has worked in the IT sector, media, advertising and Health. Mr. Jahangir founded and is running a non-profit social enterprise that works with youth unemployment and is a part of the World Economic Forums Global Shapers community. In 2014 Umar attended the World Economic Forums Annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland where he was one of the seven people invited from Pakistan to attend the meeting. |
